Scone Palace

Julie visits Scone Palace in Central Scotland – the ceremonial site where Scottish Kings were crowned. For over 400 years Scone Palace has been the family home of the Earls of Mansfield. Julie was given an exclusive tour of the historic interiors by Sophy, the Countess of Mansfield and her son, William, Viscount Stormont;, including the rooms where Queen Victoria stayed during her visit of 1842. Julie hears of a new development project for the historic stable block and gets lost in history in the iconic Scone Palace maze.
