Countess of Sandwich Society Members and preservation community
The Countess of Sandwich Society is a community of supporters who believe that historic houses are part of our shared cultural memory. Through memberships and patronage, they help to commission new films, sustain the archive, and seed projects such as the forthcoming annual Conservation Prize and our online symposium.
In return, society members are invited closer to the stories: from salons and Q&As with owners and experts, to special events both digital and in person.
Together, the society and its archive work hand in hand: one creating a permanent digital home for these historic houses on film, the other gathering the people who care enough to keep those stories alive.
